APPLY TO THE ELECTRICAL SAFETY FUND

We invite applications of up to £10,000 from UK based, not-for-profit and public organisations, including charities, community interest companies, schools, trusts, and government bodies, to support projects aimed at helping those who are most vulnerable to electrical risk and injury.

Types of projects that we will fund:

  • Product testing, repair, and replacement events

  • Educational workshops and events

  • Awareness raising activities

  • Home repair and direct interventions

If your project does not fall neatly into one of these categories, don't be put off - please select the category that feels most appropriate. All applications must work to help prevent accidents, protect lives, and create safer living environments for individuals and communities.

However, with increased levels of funding comes increased scrutiny. Please read the guidance carefully when demonstrating your costs and be aware that there should be exceptional circumstances for requesting £10,000. You will be unsuccessful if you do not follow the costing guidance.

So, if you have a great idea for how to do this, we warmly invite you to apply. The application window closes at midnight on Sunday 27th September.
